Condos never looked so good! Luxury living spaces are popping up all over Pasadena, and I had the opportunity to sneak a peak at the currently under construction Cinema Lofts on Cordova at Marengo. These modern condominiums were designed to maximize vertical space and transition from two-story residential neighborhood to the higher density commercial neighborhood. The property actually consists of three separate structures, and there are a variety of unit choices to accommodate a wide variety of owners. Many of the spaces are designated live/work for small business owners with home-based businesses.

The interiors, which were unfinished when I viewed them, are clean and modern. The kitchens and bathrooms are sleek, with stainless steel appliances and accents, and tile or quartz stone touches. The epoxy concrete floors are durable and beautiful, and the color choices are chic but basic, so that residents can make their spaces their own.
