A lovely stroll through Whole Foods...
By KRISTIN EDWARDS Dec 24, 2007 | 10:58 am I was wandering through the new Whole Foods store on Arroyo the other day, and I was so surprised at how easy it was get around the store. Like most people in Pasadena (and South Pasadena and Glendale and San Marino), I went to check it out when it first opened. I was so excited to see how much they offered, but it was so crowded that I wasn’t sure I could make it my regular shopping spot. I’m happy to say that things have calmed down considerably. I found a parking spot right away, and was able to explore the store more thoroughly. It is a great spot to stop for a late lunch, and I always try to take advantage of the free wireless interview (available at all locations). I think it’s great that the store has worked to show they want to become a part of the community too. Team members answer questions and respond to comments on a community board just inside the entrance. Whole Foods also offer lectures and events for a different issue every month. In January, the store is focusing on weight management. Check back for more information! Whole Foods Market, 465 S. Arroyo Pkwy., Pasadena, (626) 204-2266. |
