Lenkin’s home gardens were selected as one of the top 10 great gardens in the U.S.; she is also a two-time winner of Garden Design magazine’s Golden Trowel award for residential landscape design. The Certainty of Writing
Peter Sturman will discuss the evolution of Chinese calligraphy from the late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) to the Republican Period (1911-1949).
The Huntington
Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. (626)  405-2100
Going to brunch at the Langham Huntington Hotel is sort of like walking into an old-fashioned candy store – you know, with rows upon rows of brightly colored candy all begging to be eaten. The Langham brunch offers up table after table of wonderful food, all so appealing to the eye and palette. (Unfortunately I have but one stomach to give to my brunch!)
Tales from the Vault
Robert C. Ritchie will give an entertaining lecture about rare items in the library’s collections that have dramatic tales to tell of conquistadors, pirates, and witches.
The Huntington
Wednesday, April 15 at  7:30 p.m. (626)  405-2100
