Delicious scents and attentive service
Mrs. Quintanar made my feet feel like a special part of my body, not something with
which I pound the pavement. I walked out with a goodie bag too – she gave me the
pumice, file, and other things she used in my treatment because she does not reuse
materials like some salons do. Walking back to my car in flip flops that Mrs. Quintanar
also provided because I forgot to bring my own, carrying my goodie bag, and nibbling
on a chocolate, I felt relaxed and my feet felt beautiful. That evening I was actually
showing off my shiny tootsies to my friends, something I've never done.
"I love doing pedicures because most people don't like their feet,"
she says, "and when I see a client gleaming down at their pampered
feet and proudly walking out with their flip flops makes me feel
great. When I feel that I had made a difference then my job is truly
done."
The petite nail boutique Hand 'n' Sole is a hidden gem on East
Colorado, so hidden that you have to call Mrs. Quintanar for the
address. For her clients, its their "own private found secret."
