The Pasadena Animal League (PAL) of the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA held "Artistic License," a spectacular biennial gala and silent art auction, in the beautiful garden of the Pasadena home of Dawn Suttle on June 5
th
The event raised over $100,000 from the silent auction of original artwork and animal-inspired objets. The money will be used to care for "our beloved animal friends."
The event’s master of ceremonies was Fox 11 News anchor Jeff Michael. Sponsors included The Thornton Foundation and Gillan Abercrombie Frame, Dilbeck Realtors, GMAC, and cuisine courtesy of Smitty’s Grill in Pasadena. Craig’s Crew and Trewa Wines provided beverages and wines.
